Well done!

Team,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all of you who played last Saturday to secure the 2 all draw with Chester Nomads. Again with only 8 players and no subs you ran tirelessly for each other in a true team performance. I want you to remember what went right on the day....I noticed how you were all buzzin at half time; talking to each other, praising each other and focusing on the roles you were asked to perform. You all stuck to your tasks brilliantly.

This Wednesday we return to the open air for training. Meet at 6pm Waverton Queens Field and training will end at the later time of 7.30pm.

Our next match is on the 18th April at home against Blacon Ladies(kick off 11am)  Please also be aware of the girls football open day we are planning on the 25th April (9.30am) at Waverton. I am trying to get our fixture against Malpas rearranged so we play them at home. This would mean that all three ladies teams will play at home that morning. We then plan to run a short training session for everyone who comes along after the game. Could you all do your best to get to this as we are aiming to get more girls involved and to increase the size and strength of our squads.

If you can’t play on the 18th please let Paul or I know.

Well done again

Simon

Chester Nomads

Team,

Please don’t be disheartened about last weekend. With only 8 players you deserve real credit for sticking at it against a team that continued to play with an extra player. These are my personal views but I don’t feel that was in the spirit of the development of ladies football in Chester.

I want you all to see this as a real challenge and not to give up. I have been really impressed by your attitude and spirit....keep it up!

Next week we are playing Chester Nomads who will also have a large squad but I am hopeful that they will play even numbers.

We have training this Wednesday 6pm to 7pm Christleton High School.

The match on Saturday is at Boughton Hall Cricket Club. Kick off is 11am so please be there for 10.30am warm ups.

If you need lifts or directions please contact me.

Regards

Simon

Earlier KO Saturday

Team,

The game is definitely on next Saturday against Malpas. They have requested an earlier KO of 10.45am to allow some of the team to get back to watch the Liverpool V Utd match....some of you might want to do that too!

So...please be there promptly for 10.30am.  We may need to put the nets up too. I won’t be there as I have to ref my lads team in Christleton. This will be a great opportunity for you all to do well and score a few goals....please don’t disappoint me!

Good luck...

Simon

Training & our next match

Team

Your performance last Saturday was excellent. Paul couldn’t have asked for more. We need a few more players to allow us to have as many subs as the opposition...hopefully by next season that will be sorted. Please keep your chins up as you are a credit to the club when you play like that.  Thanks also to Kimmy for playing and allowing the match to be played.

Training as usual on Wednesday 6-7.

Our next match is at home to Malpas on the 14th March (11am KO)

Thanks

Simon
